What makes Mirleft special is its variety and its authenticity. You have beautiful coastline, local culture, amazing people, and different surf spots—all while keeping that small-town feeling that makes you feel like you're discovering somewhere special.
A perfect day starts with a good breakfast, then heading to the ocean for a surf session, followed by good food, exploring, relaxing, and enjoying the atmosphere of Mirleft. And when the day is coming to an end, we can watch the sunset, spend time together, and maybe finish the night around a bonfire.
Of course. We welcome all levels, from complete beginners to advanced and professional surfers. Everyone has to start somewhere — every pro was once a beginner. Our instructors adapt the sessions to the level of each guest so everyone can enjoy their time in the water.
Mirleft has plenty of surf spots. Around the area, we have roughly 11 different spots, from beach breaks to reef breaks and point breaks. That variety is one of the things we love about surfing here, because depending on the conditions and your level, there is always somewhere different to explore.
That's actually one of the reasons we created our packages around more than just surfing. If the conditions aren't good, the week doesn't stop. We can go surfskating at the lovely skatepark in town, explore nearby cities and beaches, discover the area, or enjoy one of our other activities. There's always something to do.
Our accommodation is divided between three different houses. The main one, Woodstock Surf House, has two rooms, including rooms with sea views. Then we have the Happy House, which is around five minutes walking from the beach and also has two rooms. Our third option also has sea views and can have two or three rooms. For groups of around five or six people, we normally use this house, and guests can choose between a private or shared room depending on what they prefer.
Almost everything you need for your experience is included. Your accommodation, all your meals, surf lessons, airport transportation, activities, and much more. Basically, once you arrive, our goal is for you to relax and enjoy the experience without constantly thinking about what's next. The only big thing you need to arrange yourself is your flight ticket.
Absolutely. And this year, we're introducing something especially exciting for solo travelers: our Woodstock Retreat. It's designed for people who want to travel alone but don't necessarily want to be alone. We bring together a maximum of around 10–12 people from different parts of the world, so you can surf, explore, eat, laugh and make new friendships together.
Behind Woodstock, we have a really strong head coach and a team of experienced surf instructors. We don't just put everyone in the water and hope for the best. We look at each guest's level and help them improve step by step. Our goal is simple: we want every guest to have some of their best surf sessions ever.
Because Woodstock is about the experience, not just the accommodation. You could come to Mirleft, book a room and surf on your own—but with us, you're becoming part of a community. You have the surf, the food, the activities, the local experiences, the people, the evenings together and the stories you'll remember long after you leave. You're not just booking a bed; you're booking an experience.
You can expect much more than surfing. It's a mix of surfing, exploring, Moroccan food, activities, meeting people from around the world, discovering Mirleft and enjoying the simple moments together. Every week is a little different, but the goal is always the same: to make you feel like you came as a guest and left as a friend.
Of course, we hope they take home better surfing skills and amazing photos. But more importantly, we want them to take home memories, new friendships, and a real connection with Mirleft. Maybe they came for the waves, but we hope they leave with something much bigger than surfing.
