The Woodstock surf retreat: solo travel without feeling alone

A small-group Mirleft surf retreat designed for people arriving alone and sharing the week with new friends.

From Woodstock Surf Camp

Travelling alone can create freedom, but it does not mean every part of the trip has to be solitary. The Woodstock surf retreat is designed for people who want to arrive independently and share the experience with others.

A small group in Mirleft

The retreat brings together a maximum group of around 10–12 people from different parts of the world. The size is intended to keep the week personal while creating enough energy for a real group experience.

Guests can surf, explore, eat, laugh and build new friendships together. Couples and groups are also welcome at Woodstock, but the retreat gives solo travelers a clear way to join a shared week.

More than accommodation

You could book a hotel in Mirleft and surf by yourself. Woodstock offers a different idea: accommodation, surfing, food, activities, local experiences and evenings shared with a community.

It is not only about booking a bed. It is about having people around you as you discover the coastline and the atmosphere of southern Morocco.

Come as a guest, leave as a friend

Every week can feel different because every group is different. The goal remains the same: better surf sessions, memorable photos, new friendships and a genuine connection with Mirleft.

Guests may come for the waves, but Woodstock hopes they leave with something much bigger than surfing.
