Mirleft is more than a place to check the waves. On Morocco’s southern Atlantic coast, surfing sits beside beaches, nature, local culture and the slower rhythm of a small town. That combination is why Woodstock Surf Camp chose Mirleft as its home.
A surf destination with a different rhythm
A trip to surf Mirleft gives you room to slow down. Time in the water is important, but so are the people you meet, the food you share and the places you discover between sessions.
Mirleft has kept the feeling of somewhere personal. The coastline is beautiful, the atmosphere is peaceful and everyday Moroccan life remains part of the experience.
Variety along the coastline
Around Mirleft there are roughly 11 different surf spots, including beach breaks, reef breaks and point breaks. The variety gives local instructors options to consider according to the conditions and each surfer’s level.
No single spot is the answer every day. Exploring the coast and choosing where to surf is part of the experience.
More than a surf session
When the conditions are not right for surfing, the day does not have to stop. Woodstock can turn to surfskating at the skatepark in town, nearby beaches and cities, local activities or simply more time discovering Mirleft.
That is what makes a Woodstock stay different from booking a room and surfing alone. The surf matters, but the shared meals, evenings, local experiences and friendships give the trip its wider meaning.
